Guntur sPICE

Am back from GuNtUr..... with viral fever, cold, infection on my neck ......ufffff...what a journey!
wait...am not complaining, am fine now and back to my routine.
Nice vacation cos of three reasons....a) FOOD b) People I met c) SLEEP
I will concentrate on point 'a' since its my passion to "eat"

In past 1 week, I have hogged food like PIG, wanting more and more, but my tummy not obliging.....Multiple times, wished had a better apetite to relish those never ending varities, goodness, they are FOOD MANIACS!!!!!For each meal, you can see fusion prepared with so much passion and interest...I never really got bored of food for the entire week; and it was simply-dimply AMAZING!!!!
No one cares on the amount of oil in the food or the amount of GHEE poured, rather its considered an OFFENCE if complete justice is not done to the meal...Just for record, I had 7 to 10 different varities of dishes prepared from my favourite vegetable BRINJAL and every evening was a treat of Bajji's with their traditional touch of taste with an extra pinch of chilli...Awwww
Sometimes, its the people who make you look at life so simple. These people can talk and write thesis on food, that it just makes you want more...

enough of this, on the "contrary" so much eating has made me sleep for 4 days and take anti-biotics. Back home, more oil and ghee leads to fights at dinner table and hubby can even go without food, at such sights...

@ GuntUr, The Grandparent's were quite an amazing couple....No, they are not very sober nor any sweet talks in fact quite upfront , demanding and rude in talks, blunt...but sweetest from heart....They really don't mean, but accustomed to speak in such way..I was taken aback, when granny literally shouted at me, for not pouring enough ghee in the food and blah blah....This could not stop me from hugging her every now and then and giving those tight kisses for the 87 yr old...
Guntur gets lively post 7PM ( its really hot during the day); and that's when I tried my hands on road side eatables...Very Hot, spicy but simply soooperrrr...all women folk dress in similar fashion and its nice to listen to them speak with the twist they give the language(Telugu) after they end every sentence..New places and people always excite me and thus, a good one...
